  • give true, accurate and complete information, and keep it up to date;
  • keep your login details private and not share your account with anyone else;
  • tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. Each enrolment and account is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, publish, translate, sell or reuse any material for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
  • Assessment questions, answer keys and examination materials are strictly confidential.
  • The AMF name and logo, and the CEM and CTM credential marks, may also be protected by the rights of their respective owners.

6. Programmes and enrolment

Our programmes are delivered directly by KMI or through our Accredited Learning Centers (ALCs), which are partners authorised by KMI to market, deliver and administer our programmes in their territory. If you enrol through an ALC, the ALC may have additional terms, which will apply alongside these terms.

To join CEM (Asia) or CTM (Asia), applicants are generally expected to have:

Applicants who do not meet the experience requirement may still qualify through the Portfolio & Interview pathway, subject to review by the admissions panel. CEM also expects at least 2 years in a specialist, supervisory or managerial role.

Confirming your enrolment

Your place is confirmed only when your application has been accepted and full payment has been received. We may decline an application at our discretion, for example if the entry requirements are not met or the information given is not accurate.

Knowledge Assessment50 multiple-choice questions50%
Practice-Based AssessmentCapstone Project50%

You need a minimum final score of 50 (Grade D) to pass. Grades: A (80–100), B (70–79), C (60–69), D (50–59), F (0–49).

Qualifying Exam

The CEM or CTM Qualifying Exam (case analysis and strategic problem solving) can only be taken after you have passed all required Specialist Certifications. The minimum passing grade is 50 (Grade D).

Results and certificates

  • Specialist results are released within 5 working days after the Specialist exam.
  • Final results are released within 10 working days after the Qualifying Exam.
  • Certificates are delivered within 20 working days after the final result.
  • Specialist certificates are issued by KMI. The CEM (Asia) and CTM (Asia) credentials are issued by AMF.

Retakes

If you do not reach the passing grade, you may register for a retake through the KMI process. The retake covers the relevant assessment component(s). A retake fee may apply. You must pass every Specialist assessment before moving on to the Qualifying Exam.

10. Academic integrity and use of AI

We expect every candidate to act honestly. During assessments you must:

  • use only permitted materials and resources;
  • keep assessment questions and answers confidential;
  • submit work that is your own, with sources properly referenced;
  • submit an AI Declaration for the Capstone Project and Case Analysis whenever AI tools are used or consulted. The declaration must state which tools were used (name and version), what each was used for, and confirm that the final work, conclusions and recommendations are your own.

Plagiarism, cheating, sharing assessment content or failing to declare AI use may lead to a failed result, removal from the programme without refund, or withdrawal of any certificate already issued.

11. Live sessions and conduct

  • Please be respectful and professional towards trainers and other participants.
  • You may not record, film, screenshot or transcribe live sessions (including with AI note-taking tools) without our written permission.
  • We may remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate. No refund will be given in this case.

12. Using your certification title

Once certified, you may use your credential (for example "CEM (Asia)" or "CTM (Asia)") on your CV, business card and professional profiles. You must not use the title before it has been awarded, or in a misleading way. KMI or AMF may withdraw a credential that was obtained through misconduct or false information.

13. Changes to programmes

Our curriculum is reviewed continuously, with minor updates every quarter and a full syllabus audit every year. We may therefore update content, schedules, trainers, delivery formats or prices. We will tell you about any significant change that affects your enrolment.

14. Limitation of liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or opportunity, arising from use of our website or services.
  • Our total liability to you in connection with a programme will not exceed the fees you paid for that programme.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, power or internet outages, government action, war or civil unrest. In such cases we will do our best to reschedule or offer a fair alternative.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date. By continuing to use our website or services after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.
